The National Association of Professional Organizers - Chicago is proud to present an opportunity for the Chicagoland community to de-clutter their lives by recycling, donating to worthy charities and shredding documents all at no charge.
The public is welcome to drive through the parking lot of Lane Tech Preparatory High School and drop one car load of unwanted items which will be properly distributed to charitable organizations, recycling facilities and shred. Accepted items will be papers for shredding, clothing, books, eyeglasses, electronics, furniture, kids toys, shoes, coats, blankets, kitchenware, computers, pots & pans, jewelry, linens, decor, accessories, games, media, sports equipment, and recyclables. Unaccepted items will be paint, hazardous waste, and medicine.
Your donation makes you eligible to enter to win a number of gift certificates and prizes from our sponsors. One entry per email address.
Every car will receive a delicious bag of Garrett Popcorn and $25 in Uber credit.
