Featured Education Program:
Cyber Security for Small Businesses and Home
Presented by: Marc Fargotstein of Triangle Computer Services
When it comes to computer technology and security, many of us feel overwhelmed. We want to protect our small businesses and our clients, but how? The only way to keep your data 100 percent secure is to stay off the internet. We all know that isn’t realistic so what can we do instead?
Please join us for an informative program with our long-time NAPO Chicago Business partner Marc Fargotstein, of Triangle Computer Services. In an open interview-style discussion, Marc will offer best practices and recommendations for securing your data, your privacy, and your customer’s privacy. He’ll share best practices and real life examples from his business experience. Marc will share how to mitigate risk and secure data in our own small businesses and also support clients in their own home office or small business.
The discussion will center around these key points:
- What does it mean to be 'hacked”?
- How are small businesses targeted and emerging threats?
- “Must-Do” critical precautions
- Guidance for data backup and password management
Networking & Tech Workshop After the Meeting
Immediately following the chapter meeting, stay for networking, extended Q&A discussion, and Tech Workshop. Marc will be offering personalized recommendations, so bring your laptop or device if you'd like him to take a look. Also, NAPO Chicago board members will share demos and tutorials on the following tech tools: Honeybooks CRM, Jotform, Loom, and LastPass. We will also compile a list of everyone's favorite productivity apps, so prepare to share yours! Click here to register and for more details.
