Picnic, conversation, games…and NO ZOOM!

All chapter members and Business Partners are invited

We’re thrilled to finally host an in person event for our chapter, so come enjoy a summer afternoon picnic and outdoor fun with your NAPO Chicago friends! Our Summer Social is a casual opportunity to re-connect with chapter colleagues and get better acquainted with new members!

Chapter member Yuzu Sasaki Byrne, CPO® has generously offered her home to us so we will gather outdoors for an afternoon summer lawn party! 

It’s a “BOYP” event – Bring Your Own Picnic
To keep things simple and follow CDC food safety suggestions, you are invited to bring your own lunch or snacks that don’t require any cooking, refrigeration or prep. And for a safe modified “potluck” members are welcome to bring individual snacks or treats to share –please only provide single serving items, prepackaged or individually bagged, wrapped or contained items easy to pick up and enjoy.

NAPO Chicago will provide non-alcoholic beverages in single serving bottles or cans, and you may also BOYBeverage of choice and your own cup, etc.

Our event location has some outdoor patio seating, but the lawn offers plenty of space so you’re invited to bring your own picnic blanket or folding lawn chair.

We will follow IL and CDC re-opening guidelines that state:

• Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask
• Face coverings are recommended for unvaccinated persons
• Continue social distancing to the extent possible, especially indoors
• In consideration to our host, please wear face mask when inside the home

All members and Business Partners are asked to please register in advance so we can better prepare for the event. All members are required to sign a NAPO covid waiver in order to attend the event.
