Disaster Prep: Protecting Yourself, Your Clients, and Your Business

with Diane Logsdon: Owner,The Logsdon Group - Experienced, Professional Emergency Management

September is Disaster Preparedness Month. As this year has certainly shown us, disaster planning and preparedness are essential activities for all homes and businesses. Professional Organizers can protect their business and provide a valuable service to clients by planning now to prepare for later.

While the pandemic is front of mind right now, we are also reminded by tornadoes, hurricanes, wildland fires, and explosions that disasters happen every day. Please join us as our speaker, Diane Logsdon, shares her expertise in adding preparedness to your personal life, your clients’ lives, and your business. Let’s build strength and resilience in 2020!

Your Take Aways Will Include:

  • A quick checklist of sensible preparedness steps you can (should?) take at home
  • Diane’s Top Tip for preparedness in your car
  • Translating home preparedness to your clients through professional development training and resources
  • Diane’s Double Duty Directive for preparedness tools
  • 3 categories to start preparing your business for interruption
  • A simple planning document to guide your business continuity disaster planning

With more than 25 National disaster responses and hundreds of local response, Diane has been with families at their worst hour as they start to put their lives back together. While the company provides comprehensive emergency management program support, the mission and one focus has always been on individual preparedness and helping people “Move The Needle!”.
